A Long Weekend in The Indian Jungle – How to Maximize Your Time

If you’re planning to spend a long weekend in the Indian jungle, there are a few things you can do to make the most of your time:

Plan ahead: It is a great idea to plan ahead because there are very limited permits issued by the forest department to enter the jungles. These permits get sold out very quickly so it is best to book your safaris well in advance.
Do some research: Before you leave, do some research on the jungle you’re visiting. Learn about the local wildlife, weather patterns. This will help you pack the right gear and plan your activities accordingly.
Maximize your number of safaris: There are usually two game drives conducted by forest department, during the day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. We recommend doing as many safaris as possible during your stay so as to increase your chances of viewing wildlife.
